The words witty, funny and charming best describe Stephanie Winters, the 2009-10 SAC Coordinator. A sophomore photography major originally from Ocheyedan, Iowa. Winters joined the Southwest Minnesota State University Student Activities Committee as a general member under Brittany Bayuk, the former SAC coordinator, her freshman year, she explained.

"The executive board for SAC suggested to me that, 'Ohh… you should be the SAC coordinator.' After thinking about it for a few weeks, I decided it would be fun to do it," Winters said of becoming the SAC coordinator her sophomore year.

According to Winters, SAC has more events planned than released to the public.

"We [have] some great events lined up... We [have] Retta, a relationship doctor coming in… we also [have] a laser tag night lined up; that should be fun. Of course, we will always have bingo," Winters said.



"We're not as great as last year. It's hard to fill Brittany's shoes," Winters said, but hopes to continue bringing quality products and entertainment to SMSU.

"I definitely will run again," Winters said.
